February Classes

February's classes are broken into four categories: Adult Art Classes, Art Classes in Darlington, Pottery Classes, and Children's Art Classes.

Adult Art Classes

In February, we will be offering an Oil Painting Class and Mixed Media Art Class at the Arts Center.

Vicky McLain will be bringing her talented brush to the Black Creek Arts Center on Tuesday mornings beginning February 3rd. Vicky's Oil Painting Class will last from 10:00 – 12:00 and will span four weeks. Vicky will be teaching her cotton painting technique. Cost for the class is $70. Call Bruce at the Arts Center (843.332.6234) for a supply list.

Michelle Morris will be offering a Mixed Media Class for adults on Wednesdays from 5:30 – 6:45. Cost for the class is $40. The first class will meet on February 4th and the final session will be February 25th.

Art Classes in Darlington

The classes below will be offered at Birds of a Feather on Siskron Street in Darlington.

Michelle Morris will be leading two classes in Darlington during the month of February. Michelle will be offering a Children's Clay Class from 4 - 5:15 on Tuesdays beginning February 3rd and ending February 24th. Cost for the class is $20.

Michelle Morris will also be offering a Mixed Media Class for children from 4:00 - 5:15 on Thursdays beginning February 5th and ending February 26th. Cost for the class is $20.

In The Pottery Studio...

Mary Lou Bailey and Barbara Watson will be offering pottery classes in February.

Hand-Building with Mary Lou Bailey:

This class will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning February 3rd and ending on February 26th. The cost for the eight-session class is $90. The class will meet from 6pm - 8pm.

Wheel Classes with Barbara Watson

Barbara will be offering three classes in February:

Mondays - 5:30 - 7:00p - Beginning on Feb 2nd and ending on Feb 23rd
Tuesdays- 10:00a - 12:00p - Beginning on Feb 3rd and ending on Feb 24th
Wednesdays- 10:00a - 12:00p - Beginning on Feb 4th and ending on Feb 25th

The cost for Barbara's classes is $90.

Children’s Art Classes at the Arts Center

Leslie Pinto will be offering an Art History Class on Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 7:15 beginning on February 3rd and ending February 24th. Cost for the class is $30.

Michelle Morris will be leading a Clay Class on Mondays from 4:00 - 5:15 beginning on February 2nd and ending on February 23rd. Cost for the class is $20. The class is great for young people ages 3-12.

Michelle Morris will also be offering a Mixed Media Class on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:15. This class will begin on February 4th and end on February 25th. The cost will be $20.
